My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco is a 6 ½ year old red and copper male with a tiny bit of white on his chest. He was dropped off at the shelter and his foster family says they just don’t understand why someone would abandon him.

When he was first pulled from the shelter, he had a pretty bad respiratory infection and was a little skinny. He’s on the mend now and eating regularly and as soon as he’s better and has put on some weight, he will be neutered (probably around mid-February).

He is heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccinations. He responds very well to his name and his foster family says that he loves belly rubs, giving kisses and getting brushed. They say he is bouncy and peppy, but not a “traditional” high-energy Aussie and that he’s very well-behaved. He gets along very well with other dogs and is curious about cats (he tends to chase them, but turns on a dime the minute he hears his name, even when his foster brothers keep on chasing – so he doesn’t give in to peer pressure!). He’s very happy just being with people.

He would make an excellent and loyal companion dog. Please won’t you give Coco his forever home?

Coco is fostered in Oviedo, FL.
