Here's what the humans have to say about me:
West Chester, PA Boone and Bogey are 5 year old litter mates that have proven not to be safe around my two year old daughter. They have NEVER come at her or anyone unprovoked or in an aggressive manner. The incident was because she was pulling and poking at them. After speaking with our trainer, who after assessing them categorized them as reactive not aggressive, we all feel it would be best to find them a new home for their safety and our daughters.
They are sweet and loving lap dogs that are very high energy and require a lot of exercise. They are crate trained and on a very good schedule, but will have an accident in the house if left out of the crate unattended and not walked in a timely fashion. Boone is a blue hair that can be dominant. Bogey is a red/tan that is submissive and tends to be anxious and fearful (alerting barker). They were socialized as puppies with other animals and did very well in all situations with many different breeds. In later years, we believe they had a bad experience with another dog when we boarded them for the weekend in a local establishment. Therefore they sometimes act out with other dogs.
We would like to try to keep them together. They have never been apart from each other except for a one night vet stay due to an illness when they were pups. We have attempted to separate them even when crated and that has proven difficult. Bogey (red/tan) would cry incessantly, urinate and defecate in the crate until they were reunited.
