Breed: Pit Bull
Estimated Date of Birth: December 24, 2011
Location: Dallas, GA
Holly was found on the side of the road in horrible condition on 12/21/2013. She was extremely skittish and our friend Shawn & his wife spent an hour trying to get her in the car. Shawn thought she had been shot in the chest due to an infection in her mammary. Our vet determined that she had mastitis. On top of the mastitis, Holly was infested with worms and was heartworm positive. She has recovered from her mastitis and underwent heartworm treatment. Holly is now fully-vetted and ready for a forever home.
Holly is an extremely loving girl. She is very untrusting of strangers. It takes her a while to warm up to new people, but her love is endless once you’ve earned her trust. She has been great with the other dogs in her foster home. Holly is crate-trained and housebroken. Due to her weariness of strangers, she can be protective of her home and people. It takes a while to build that trust, but once you have it, Holly will show you how incredibly amazing she really is.
