Benny and the Jets...Benny, Benny !
Well, we don't have the real Benny and the Jets but we have someone just as great.
This handsome guy came from a local shelter who was there because he was picked up as a stray. Now who wouldn't come and take this guy home? Well we saw him and thought he was something special, so we took him home with us.
Benny started working his charms on his soon-to-be foster Mom and she didn't even know it. Standing by his cage at the shelter, the foster Mom was looking at a totally different dog and considering taking him home with her. Benny saw his chance when her hand was on his cage to make his move. He gave her so many kisses on her hand that she turned to see where all this love was coming from. When Benny had her full attention, he flashed those beautiful golden colored eyes at her and the rest is history.
Once the foster Mom got Benny home, Benny got to meet 2 blk labs. One male and one female who were waiting for a new foster brother. The female alpha showed Benny who was the boss and the male beta showed Benny how to chase him in the yard. A nice hot bubble bath was waiting for Benny when he was done playing. A ride to meet the veterinarian to finishes Benny's vaccinations and get micro chipped and then dinner. Phew.. that is a great first day! Nap time.
Benny is EXTREMELY mild mannered dog. Great walker, great in the car, loves people of all ages and other dogs. LOVES to play but has an off switch.
Benny is a 2 year old male, Lab/Staffordshire Terrier mix, 40 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, neutered, housebroken and micro chipped.
