JUDE's Story...
Jude is the sweetest 6 year old boy. He does not act like your typical hound dog. Never has made a sound in his cage at the shelter. Just a calm and laidback fella. He is 51 pounds so he would be a nice fit in any size home. If you are a walker or runner Jude is very easy on a leash. Jude came to the shelter as a stray on 04/19/2014. He is neutered, current on vaccines, and tested negative for heart worms. He will be micro-chipped when adopted. He is waiting in run 51 and his ID# is 565051.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Why Adoption is a Great Option

JUDE, a Marietta Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
