Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Opal. I’m a purebred 5-6 year old female German Shepherd. I was in pretty bad condition when my foster dad first saw me. But he couldn’t stop to check me out because he was in a hurry to take Nicky to the vet. He was in worse shape than I was. The next day my foster dad returned to look for me. He found me living in the entrance of an abandoned train depot in south LA. I looked really bad and my foster dad didn’t know if I could be saved. He gave me some food so I let him put a leash on me and take me to the vet, too. The vet said I was extremely malnourished. All I needed was a good diet and some time to gain weight.
Now I’m spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, fecal test done, and frontlined. No jogging or long hikes please--not my cup of tea. I’m very loyal and I weigh about 50 pounds now. I’m okay with kids, dogs, and maybe cats. I’m housetrained with a doggy door. Will you give me a second chance for a good life? I love my foster daddy so much but I would love to have my own loving forever home. If you want me, contact jessbrad12@socal.rr.com .
