Madigan's Story...
Madigan is a typical playful, energetic puppy…. she is approx 7 months old and 20 lbs.. she was dumped at the high kill shelter by her owner.. no explanation as to why…she looks like she may be a wheaten or cairn terrier/dachshund mix, she loves to run and play with the other rescues, she likes to be the boss but she is not mean, she is not fully house trained and will need some leash training, she loves toys, loves her doggie bed loves to play chase.. just a typical little very active pup

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madigan, a Woonsocket Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
