Hunter's Story...
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. ALL APPLICATIONS AND INQUIRIES WILL BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE CURRENT OWNER. THIS DOG DOES NOT RESIDE OR BELONG TO HAPPY TAILS HAPPY HOMES.

Hunter is a very happy 2 year old pit/pointer mix. He loves to lounge around all day but loves to run! We have taught him sit lay down and stay out of the kitchen. He has some separation anxiety but he gets over it in about 15-20 min. He is crate trained but knows how to break out. He is good with other dogs as long as he is the dominate one. He is ok with children as long as they are not pulling on his face. Unsure on how he reacts to livestock and cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
