My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

his is Drake. He is 2 yrs old and currently weighs about 86 lbs. This handsome guy appears to be predominately Rottweiler. (We are not sure what he is mixed with - maybe Labrador Retriever? or German Shorthair Pointer? Not sure.) As you can see, he is black and tan and has a natural tail. He has a gentle, sweet temperament - and is a bug love bunny. He does come up to be petted and enjoys a good belly rub too. He walks fairly well on a leash and is a pleasure to walk. He also rides very well in the car. Drake also enjoys a little fetch game with his favorite tug toy or squeaker ball.
He plays very well with a 2 yr old female German Shepherd foster dog we had named Samantha. He loves to race and chase with her. They do a little wrestling and he also tries to get her to play a tug of war with a tug toy. When we walk him next to our foster girl Robin the
Doberman, he tries to sneak in a kiss from time to time. (She just ignores him and prefers that he stay out of her personal space! Poor guy...)
We have not tested Drake with cats, but, we think that he might chase them. We would recommend a meet and greet to see if Drake is compatible with your family and pets.
Drake is current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is crate trained and doing
very well on his housetraining manners and people manners. We feel that this handsome fellow deserves a great home.
