Georgie's Story...
Georgie, 11 Years Old

Georgie is a wonderful little lady. For eleven years of age she still has quite a bit of spunk to her! She took a while to warm up to the resident cat, but now gets along with him and the family pug. She loves to follow her human family all over the house. Georgie enjoys walks, bones, meal times and treats! She does well riding in the car as well! Georgie sleeps in bed with the foster family and the family pug. Georgie enjoys sleeping in her bed by herself during the day, but is getting better about cuddling with us. She can no longer jump up, but goes up and down stairs just fine. Georgie is a great loving gal! Georgie is fully housebroken. She loves to run around in the backyard with the other pug in the house. Like many pugs she gobbles up her food really fast. Also like many pugs she is a bit on the "loud" side and snores at night. This senior girl is looking for her 'fur'ever home, could that be yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgie, a Hinckley Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Hinckley, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Hinckley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hinckley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hinckley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hinckley paves the way for another one to be saved.
