Sissy Spacek's Story...
Straight from the Badlands, Sissy Spacek is ready to make your heart beat. She’s a 1-year-old Border Collie/Australian Cattle dog mix, weighing in at about 40 pounds. Sissy’s no Eraserhead...she’s housebroken, knows how to sit and come, and she takes treats gently from anyone who offers. She is very playful and her foster mom says one of her favorite pastimes is throwing her toys up in the air to catch herself. She loves to chew on stuffed toys, and is a happy girl overall. Sissy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy Spacek, a Jersey City Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
