Jake's Story...
Well Hello there. My name is Jake. I am a sweet handsome boy. I am eight years young and am in great health. I do fight ear infections but good food and regular ear cleanings should keep me in good shape. My family did not have time to devote to me so they called IEBR to find me a great home. My foster mom says I am an awesome boy- well mannered, love everybody and am completely house trained. I love car rides, the couch and my deer antler. I do well in a kennel but my preference is to hang out loose in the house. I am a really good boy and do not get into anything.
If you are interested in Jake, please visit our website:, and read through our adoption criteria to see if you meet our requirements. If you do, please fill out an application to adopt.
Jake's adoption fee is: $325

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Decatur English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Decatur, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
