Blackjack is an awesome boy and will make a great companion for a family or an active single person. He is a very sweet boy and is still a rambunctious young man with all that puppy energy. Blackjack is only 10+ months old and already weighs 72 lbs. He is still thin and needs to do some filling out. Blackjack is going to be a big boy. He is great with other dogs and plays well with others. Blackjack is definitely a confident dog, not much rattles him and he does not have a mean bone in his body! He is very curious and is not afraid of much. He is lovable with people and dogs alike. He hasn't been around cats that we know of yet, but he has been taken around kids on bikes, and there was no barking or bad behavior. Blackjack loves his people and likes just hanging out with them. He settles down nicely in the house and likes to curl up for naps after playtime. He would probably do best in a house without very young children, as he is still unaware of how much he weighs and could knock small children down accidently. He is very smart and is already potty trained. He learns quickly and knows "sit", "come", "calm" and is learning "off." He learned how to use the dog door in just one go by watching our other dog use it. As far as puppies goes, this guy is not destructive and hasn't destroyed anything, even alone in his room for the day. He is good on the leash, though if he decided to pull, he' is strong. Blackjack is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. He is also crate trained.
