Bonita's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bonita's Story...
Bonita is a 6 year old female that looks to be all Schnauzer. We claimed her from the Austin City dog pound. The Pound officers pick up loose dogs in the City of Austin, and place them into the Pound. The owner has 10 days to claim the dog. No owner showed up to claim Bonita, so we took her in to our Humane Society. Bonita has a very stable, well-adjusted personality. She is not hyper or shy, and seems to get along with our other Shelter dogs just fine. Bonita is spayed and current with all vaccinations. It is highly probable that she is already housetrained. Her adoption fee is $75. If you have other questions, or would like to have us send you our adoption application via e-mail, please send us an e-mail (no phone calls please).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonita, a Austin Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Austin, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
