Bobby's Story...
Bobby and Milly are an adorable bonded pair of Chihuahuas. They were surrendered to a shelter together in Kansas and we do not have any details on their background or their relationship. We do know, however, that they just adore each other and are not happy when apart. Bobby is the larger of the pair at around 10 lbs, Milly weighs just 4.5 pounds. When apart, they can be quite shy and unsure. When together though, they are friendly and happy and enjoy playing with each other and people. They do well with other small dogs - because of how tiny Milly is, she cannot go to a home with small children or large dogs. These two will keep you smiling with their antics and love for one another! Their adoption fee is a combined $225.00. If you have room in your heart and home for two special companions, stop by to visit with Milly and Bobby!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bobby, a Fort Collins Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
