Abbie's Info...

Abbie's Story...
Abbie is a 12 week old german shepherd puppy mix. She is too cute for words. Her coloring is such a true representation of the breed. Abbie is large boned, very friendly and stunningly beautiful. She runs and plays then just sacks out and takes a nap, then starts all over again. Abbie is lovable and just a fun little girl. Those EYES just grab you! Abbie is working on her potty training skills in her foster home.

If you are interested in giving Abbie a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Abbie's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Abbie was rescued from a high kill southern shelter. She is living with a foster family just outside of Memphis, TN. Abbie will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbie, a Stamford German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Stamford, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Stamford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stamford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stamford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stamford paves the way for another one to be saved.
