My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mama Bear is a 3 year old pittie mix who as a stray, wandered into the maternity ward of a local hospital. It just goes to show how smart she really is, as she herself was pregnant at the time. Animal Control sent her to a rescue as they didn’t want her to give birth at the pound. She gave birth and nursed 4 little pups, until one day, she became protective of them. Imagine that, a Mama being protective of her pups! That rescue decided Mama Bear was too aggressive and transferred her to the shelter. That’s where Thank Dog Rescue met her, instantly fell in love, and when a spot opened up in their program, they swooped in to save her. Since coming into foster care Mama has been nothing short of amazing. Her foster family is greeted everyday with tail wags and kisses. If you are looking for an expert snuggler who is good with dogs, cats (she play bowed a kitty) AND kids, then Mama Bear is your girl!!!!
