Hello Folks: My name is Shadow. I am a very handsome 18 month old Cairn Terrier mix boy. I am a happy-go-lucky mellow sort of guy.I thrive on human companionship and love to hang out with my family members. I will follow you everywhere you go and lay by your feet while you read or are on the computer. What can I say? I am just a LOVER BOY!!!True to my name, I wil follow you every where you go. I am a human VELCRO.
One day, my big brother and me decided to escape out of our yard and go on an adventure. We had no idea that our escapade would be curtailed by the Animal Control. That is how we both ended up at the Animal Shelter. I swear, it was not my fault-I followed my brother-who was the leader.
The folks at HeartToHeart felt sorry for me and told me I could come live in Irvine until I found a home of my very own.
I am a very smart boy. My Mom has this really cool doggie door that I taught myself how to use. I heard my Mom tell people that I am a good boy. I try really hard to be an obedient boy and listen to whatever my Mom tells me to do.
I am reliably potty trained in my foster home. I know to go outside and do my business.
I love going on our daily walks on my new leash. There has not been anyone I have not liked, everyone is my friend. I like all the other doggies in my foster as well as the humans too.
My ideal home would be with someone who works from home or is retired where I am not left alone for extended amount of time. I ride the car like a champ, am crate trained (shhh-I sneak up and sleep with my Mom all the time). I am untested with cats.
Shadow is a fun-seeking boy that is best suited for an active family. He will be a perfect hiking/running buddy. This boy is quite an acrobat and can jump high, a home with tall fence is a must for this boy. Shadow is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all his shots. What more can you ask for??? He is good to go and ready and waiting!! adoption fee is only $225 and this boy is worth every penny of it.
