My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SAY HELLO TO "CoCoMoJoJo" who arrived from the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. This is NOT a rescued Poodle, but a re-home.

Special THANK YOU to Jenny, co-founder of the "Leach Lake Legacy" program who obtained this Poodle during their recent Puppy Round Up of 2014 and then contacted us for help.

JoJo is a very pretty red, 5 year old (08/08/08) neutered Poodle. At 14" tall measuring from the floor to his shoulders and a healthy 13.5 pounds, JoJo is considered to be a Miniature Poodle.

He was purchased as a puppy by another family but a few years later, they could no longer care for him. JoJo was then given to next owner who deeply loved him but could no longer afford to care for him.

This is a WONDERFUL Poodle whom I have found to be VERY sociable, outgoing, loving, gets along just fine with all of our Poodles, especially with Shaun who has become best buddies with.

Like Shaun, JoJo will also bark when someone comes, but is a quiet and gentle; not at all a shy boy. He has been a perfect gentleman in our home.

JoJo loves to go for walks, plays with toys but mostly enjoys being with people as he also considers himself a member of a family and not a dog.

JoJo has been raised by women, so we were concerned about his liking men. Pictured you can see how Mike and I feel about that issue now! JoJo just LOVES all men!

Our Vet found that one of his lower K9's was deformed and growing in such a way that caused a hole into his upper palate (roof of mouth). This tooth was pulled and the infected hole has safely heal closed. JoJo's other K9 is chipped and will need to be sealed at a later date. No big problem there. JO JO IS JUST FINE!

Tests also show that JoJo was Canine Heartworm / Lymes / Anaplasmosis / Ehrlichiosis negative at 8:00 minutes, but both Lymes and Anaplasma were positive 5-10 minutes later.

Options of doing more tests was not done. Instead, JoJo was treated for these tick related diseases. Detected early and treated with antibiotics, Lymes has been proven curable in people as well as animals.
JoJo is young, strong, healthy, active and alert. We strongly feel that after his Doxycyline treatment (antibiotics) he will be just fine.

HELLO?? ANYONE READING THIS?? JoJo is truly a wonderful, loving Poodle almost perfect in every way for the right family willing to give him a "forever more" home.

His $300.00 adoption will help pay for some of his Vet expenses (which also include shots up to date, worming and Home Again micro chipped registered. Also included is his new kennel, bedding, new soft bed, toys, leash, collar, winter coats, a 6 month supply of Heartgard, a bag of quality dog food, treats along with lots of information to help start your adoption on the right paw forward!

Please, NO LARGE DOGS or small children. If you would like more specific information about JoJo or his "Application For Adoption" please contact us.
