Meet little orphan pup Clover! She is about 9 months old and weighs just under 40 lbs.. Her mom is a golden retriever but we have no way to know who dad is,...but based on her size and markings we are guessing that dad is a hound. Clover and her brother Saint were dumped at the local shelter. They were never socilaized when they were younger, so they were too fearfull to go on the adoption floor....so we rescued them! Clover has been in a foster home for 4 months and is slowly improving. She is very sweet and is starting to play with toys and act like a puppy as you can see in her pictures. She does very well with other dogs and would do best with a family who has another dog that can be a strong role model. She is still a bit timid around people that she does not know and will hide wherever she can. She is doing better on a leash but gets startled easily so busy streets with loud noises or kids yelling is not a good idea. We have had a behaviorist evaluate her and give her a training plan that her adopter will need to stick with for good results. She and her brother love each other and share the same huge crate so they can cuddle together. They are still working on crate training but that will all come in time. A fenced yard is mandatory for this scared pup. Clover is offered at a reduced fe so that her adopter can spend money on her training, If you have patience, a heart, time to train, and a furever home to offer this sweet baby, please let us know. Video available upon request.
