My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posted 4/25/14. Finn is a gorgeous yellow lab mix that came to us from a local animal shelter after he had tested positive for heartworm. Being a very young dog, Finn took the treatment very well and recovered very quickly (he is still not allowed to run and jump but just for 2 more weeks). Finn is a lot of fun, he loves going for walks and hikes, he loves to play with other dogs, he is very affectionate and likes to be with his person. When Finn first came to us we were told that he had lived in a yard all his life. We could tell that he was not used to being in a house - everything scared him initially but he learned quickly, especially how comfy a couch is!! He still gets easily startled when he is in a new environment but once he is used to it and his new humans he does great. Finn weighs about 30 lbs. - he is not very big. He is about 2 years old. Finn has been neutered, he is current on vaccinations including Rabies and he has recently been treated for heartworm. For Finn we are looking for a home where he gets a lot of attention and exercise. His foster mom has been working with him on basic obedience and she reports that Finn is very smart and learns quickly. If you are interested in adopting Finn please fill out an adoption application on our web site www.inthenest.net (make sure you write something in each bar or it won't go through). Finn's adoption fee is $175. No small children please.
