Gizmo's Story...
Hi, I’m Gizmo, 1 year old Shih Tzu mix [Schnauzer the Vet says] with a cute under-bite, 16 pounds and long-legged. I’m real sweet and cuddley. I love to snuggle with you and give licky kisses. I’m passive and easy to walk on a lead. I have not had any accidents in the house. My Foster Mom and everyone says I look like an “Ewok”. So if you love Star Wars, I’m your Ewok furry friend and definitely a hunter-gatherer guy! And even better- I know some sign language! My foster mom can’t believe how smart I am!

Gizmo is being fostered in ST LOUIS, MISSOURI but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $125. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a waterbury Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in waterbury, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
