Annie's Story...
Sweet Annie is ready to be adopted! She came to us very, very pregnant and has since had and cared for all of her babies. Her babies have been placed in their forever homes, and Annie is ready for a forever home of her own as well. Annie is about 3 years old. She is such a sweet little girl. Annie does very well with children, and she interacts well with other animals as well. She is housebroken. Annie came to us from a tough situation and she has been used to breed her whole life. She is well deserving of a really great home, where she will get to be the family pet and not a money maker. Annie is a happy and outgoing little girl and she has a wonderful disposition. She will make a wonderful companion.

* We are accepting applications now for Annie if you are interested. She is in a foster home and will be available to meet potential adopters by appointment only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Troy Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Troy, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
