Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi World! My name is Watson and I came to Midwest BREW from a shelter in Michigan. My foster mama says I’m a beautiful tri-colored beagle that weighs in at a trim 29 lbs. Even though I'm about 4 years old, I’m still a puppy at heart because I love to walk, play with toys, and hang with my humans.
I am still learning that housetraining thing but foster mom thinks I’m getting better. I’m also working on my training. I LOVE to hunt and when I get excited about it, I share the news with the other dogs in my pack. It’s kind of a high-pitched noise or howl.My foster folks watch me carefully in the backyard and we walk alone or with one other dog to train, and I’m getting better every day with practice. I’m working on learning to sit on command and stay, and I’m getting there slowly.
I love other dogs and running around in circles in the backyard is the best. I get along pretty well with most of the boy beagles in the house, but the girl beagle is my favorite. We wrestle and chase and box and it’s so much fun, so I would be happy with the right playmate. When I’m not playing, I tend to curl up wherever the humans are and take a nice long nap. It’s tough work being so cute!
So if you are looking for a sweet, handsome beagle boy to call your own, contact Midwest BREW and tell them Watson sent you!
Note from foster mom: Watson demonstrates some alpha tendencies, but he plays really well with our alpha female and gets along with our senior boys. We recommend a meet and greet before adoption if there are other dogs in the house. He’s very gentle with humans and loves to snuggle.
