Facts about Henry

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Henry, an adorable cat, now 3 years old, with deep amber eyes, was found in an alley all alone and crying for his mommy when he was just 4-6 weeks old. If not for a kind-hearted good Samaritan, this little bundle of joy may not have survived. Henry is a healthy, rambunctious year old boy who likes to play rough, so needs a home with adults who are cat savvy.

Adoption includes neuter, initial vaccines FeLV/FIV test, deworming, and treatment with a topical flea control.

Henry is currently fostered in a private home in Torrance.

Our PET LIST is updated each evening, so all animals are available, unless noted as **ADOPTED**

About Friends of Harbor Animals

About Our Rescue Group...

Friends of Harbor Animals is a group of independent rescuers working together to find permanent homes for cats, kittens, puppies and dogs who have found themselves in an Animal Shelter or other "unfortunate circumstance".

All the pets we have available for adoption are happy, socialized and healthy. Some of Friends of Harbor Animals Adorable Adoptables are cared for in private foster homes. Please CLICK HERE to meet more pets available for adoption

Additionally, our program of promoting animal shelter adoptions is an ongoing project of Friends of Harbor Animals. If an animal is listed as *URGENT*, the animal is currently available for adoption at the Harbor Animal Care Center (City of Los Angeles Animal Shelter) in San Pedro. The Care Center staff is available to answer your questions regarding the shelter's adoption policies and fees at (310) 548-2632 . Be prepared to provide the animal's impound (ID) number.

Please consider adopting your new companion pet from the Harbor Animal Care Center. SAVE A LIFE!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not operate a shelter that is open to the public. Our rescue animals are fostered in private homes and are shown by appointment.

If an animal is listed as urgent, it is currently at risk in a shelter. Please refer to the contact information in the animals description for shelter location, phone number and hours of operation.

Our Adoption Process...

Prior to adoption, each animal is current on vaccines, dewormed, and parasite-free. Cats and kittens are tested for Feline Leukemia. Our Adoption Donation for cats and kittens varies ($75 to $150). The Adoption Donation for puppies and dogs varies ($125 to $250). Microchipping for permanent internal I.D. is included for an additional $25.

Each adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, an initial Vet exam, vaccinations and parasite treatment.
