My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Grover, and I am looking for a forever home. I am a very handsome 5 month old Boxer mix who weighs in at 40 pounds and steadily growing by the day. I love to play with my foster sisters. We get to play ball and run our hearts out in the yard every day! We play fetch all the time but I haven’t quite grasped the concept of bringing the ball back yet. Having brothers and sisters to share my toys with is what I enjoy most. I also do very well in the house. Only after four days of being in the house I learned to scratch and whine at the door when I needed to go out for a potty break. I must say that’s pretty amazing and I sure am proud of myself. I do very well in a crate while my foster parents are at work but I need lots of toys to keep me occupied. I’ll have to admit that there was this one time that I pulled the stuffing out of my bed because I got bored. I am not one that you have to worry about running off either. I love when my foster parents work outside in the yard because I get to help with everything. Whether we are playing in the dirt getting ready to plant flowers or just taking relaxing walks around the farm, I never leave their side. I absolutely enjoy company and interaction with others. I’m very loyal and loving in all aspects. My foster family also has other animals that I get to interact with. They have two cats that I’m very friendly with when I go inside. I get to interact with the chickens, rabbits, and pigs as well. They’re very interesting and all in their own separate pins but I have never tried to bother them in anyway. Oh, I did get to meet a horse for the first time the not too long ago and I wasn’t quite sure what to think initially. I barked a few times to let my foster parents know that there was something strange in the yard but once I got a few sniffs and thorough looksee I was just fine. I wanted to go walk the trails with everyone and their horses but it was getting close to dark and was probably best for me to stay home. I am a true joy to have and would make an excellent companion. I have found a special place in my foster moms’ heart and I’m sure I can do the same for my forever family. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
