Aspen is a male Maltipoo mix approximately 2 years in age. He has been professionally groomed and currently has a very short haircut. His coat should grow out in long white curls with soft apricot highlighting. Aspen has the most beautiful apricot coloring on his ears and his fur is extremely soft. His coat is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Aspen is a nice sized dog, currently weighing in at 15 pounds. He is a bit on the skinny side from being stray, and his ideal weight should be 18 pounds or so. Aspen is a wonderful, fun, playful young dog. He would be an excellent choice for a family dog since he is very willing, interactive and friendly. He loves being talked to and responds eagerly to voice commands. He walks nicely on leash with a confident bounce to his step. Aspen is good with other dogs and is more on the passive side. He is a peace loving boy and never wants any trouble. He rides quietly in the car and loves to go places. He would be a great dog to take to the kids games, the park, the beach, or for long evening walks. He has a nice amount of energy and loves to be included in family activities. Aspen is in excellent health and is going to make a lovely pet and companion. He was brought in stray to a very high volume/high kill shelter where we rescued him. For personality, Aspen gets five stars! He's a handsome boy too! Aspen is ready for his new forever home today.
Aspen’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Aspen is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
