Ragdoll Cat for adoption in Middletown, New York - Annie

for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Annie's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Annie's Story...
Annie is a 1-year-old spayed female Ragdoll mix. She was adopted from us months ago, and her adopter gave her away without us knowing. Then she was given away again... and again... and again... and again. She is now in what we believe is her FIFTH home, if we were told the truth about how many people have had this poor girl. Annie is a sweet cat, but she takes a while to adjust to new situations, which is why these people kept giving her away. They expected her to fit in immediately, and pushed her too much when she didn't. When Annie was at the shelter, she took 2 weeks before we could do much with her. After that time, though, she was a nice girl! Annie needs an adult-only home where she is the only pet. She does not like other animals, which is why she can't stay where she is now. She is currently at a vet tech's house who has other cats that keep Annie on edge just being there. If you are interested in adopting Annie and giving her a FOREVER home, please call the shelter or e-mail us and we can make arrangements with the foster person .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Middletown Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
