While we have no idea where exactly little Emily came from we do know that she reminds us of the perfect southern lady who has the best manners, is gracious to all and is a pleasure to be around.
Miss Emily has true southern charm also; she is gentle, gracious and sweet to everyone around her. She loves people of all ages, dogs, cats; the saying “she’s never met a stranger” applies to this girl. She is calm, gentle and quiet and appreciates the same in others so we’d say kids over 12 would be best for her.
Emily knows sit, comes running when called, is crate trained and is house trained of course. She does like to play with other dogs; not rough and tumble of course – she is a lady after all, but she does like to run in the yard with them. She walks well on a leash and has proper manners. She is so polite and sweet she would most likely enjoy being a therapy dog visiting with seniors in a nursing home for example.
Emily loves to go for rides in the car, so much so we should have named her Daisy after “Driving Miss Daisy”. She is loving to all and enjoys giving gentle kisses and likes to snuggle and cuddle with her people. She truly is the perfect companion
As a true genteel lady Emily will not disclose her true age but we believe she is around 5 despite the fact that she has only 4 teeth. We do know she is in great health other than she does need to lose a few pounds. Please don’t let her know we were talking to you about this she would be mortified and we’d get an earful!
