My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raegan has come back into the rescue. His obsessions with reflections and shadows seems to be a little worse than we thought. We are working with Raegan to correct this behavior.

Here is what Raegan's former family has to say about him:

Raegan is a very well-mannered 4 year old Border Collie/Lab mix who is trusted in the house alone on a daily basis and is very reliably house broken. He has been friendly with all people (including little ones) he has encountered, and he really just wants to play and get loved on. He is also friendly with all the dogs that he has been introduced to and loves to play.

Although Raegan is a great dog, he doesn’t get the attention he needs and deserves as his current owner took him in on an emergency basis. He is left alone at the house between 9 and 11 hours a day while his owner works. Again, he has been trusted this entire time, and we have not had any chewing or potty incidents. When he has had time to get out with his temporary owner and other dogs, no one has been able to tire him out…Raegan will go as long as you can. But when it is time to settle down and come inside he does a pretty good job.

He also has a non-destructive obsession with reflections/glares. He will sit and stare at a reflection on the wall and wait for it to move and will chase reflections from the door or through the window. We will be working with Raegan's obsession with reflections and shadows.

Raegan's a bit of a beggar when he feels like he’s not getting enough attention or he thinks it’s time to go outside or come inside. These are the few times he raises his voice a little or starts nudging your arm. Overall though, he’s been a sweet dog with no problems that interfere with his ability to get along well in a brand new household. He just needs someone who can give him the time and attention he deserves.

More about Raegan as he settles into his foster home and we get to know him better!
