Chica's Story...
Hi there, my name is Chica and I am a 6 month old terrier mix who loves to play! I was picked up off a 4 lane interstate playing “dodge the car” and some nice person stopped and saved me. I have been with my foster family for about 3 weeks now. I love my foster brother and sisters. They are the same size as me and we play a lot! I have been around big dogs and they kind of scare because I am only 10 pounds and my mama says I am a petite little thing. I also love my mama and her two kids. We snuggle a whole bunch. I really hope I can find a home with another dog and big yard so we can run and play. I am up to date on all my shots, microchipped, spay and totally house broken . . . I think I would be a great addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chica, a McKinney Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
