My story

Hi! I’m Horton! I was born in 2013 and boy do I LOVE LIFE! I came to AWLMC via a rescue partner. I was a stray at one time, but was rescued. Unfortunately the resident cat did not like me and I had to find a new home. The people here at the AWLMC say I am super handsome, and who am I to disagree? I absolutely love to play and I get along great with my roommates -- so much so that I have tried to get into the carriers with them when they’ve been adopted. But I’m still waiting for my perfect adopter to come and find me. Is it you? My favorite toy is the Cat Catcher. If you let me catch the mouse, I will prance around the room with it in my mouth. I purr a lot and will purr as soon as I see you. I will jump on your lap for some petting and then go do my own thing. They say I’m not a lap cat, but I do like to be close by. I love being up high to observe my world. I would love an active home with perhaps a friend to play with. If you are looking for a super sweet, affectionate, and fun furry friend to call your own, please come and see me. I would love to have a home for the holidays.
