Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fritz is 11 month old and a friendly fellow. He is a little shy with other dogs, but he warms up in a day or two and then he acts like they have been BFF. He has a little obedience training in him and his foster mom has been working with him on crate training and basic commands. He walks well on a leash. He does have a little bit of food aggression with the other dogs, where he will snarl a bit if they get too close to him while he is eating, so he is fed in his crates and there have been no incidents. I am sure that this will go away the more comfortable he feels that he doesn't have to fight for his food. He is on the skinny side. He was an owner surrender at the pound, because he snapped (did not bite) at the owner but we have yet to see anything other then a sweet mild mannered and respectful young handsome healthy purebred Rottweiler. Experience with the breed is always best, but if you are a first time want to be rottie owner, please watch this video before you decide. Pay special attention to how much training is needed.
