Hello! I am a three year old female love bird. My name is Bonita – which is Spanish for “pretty” or “cute”. I am in fact both of those things. As you can tell, I am incredibly beautiful. What can I say? I was born this way. I like to talk… a lot. I am hilarious. I have excellent speaking abilities and can mimic different sounds perfectly. I generally blow away my audience! I love your company and want to be with you constantly. When you leave me and I can’t follow you, I will cry. I am very convincing when I cry (professional guilt tripper, here!). I enjoy perching on heads and shoulders, but I am not fond of hands – especially near my cage. While I may be a picky eater, I won’t hesitate to taste some fingers every now and again, so please keep my cage out of reach of young children. I do SO look forward to being your little ball of love and entertainment! I just want to find someone that will cherish me until the end, so please fill out an application and come meet me very soon!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
