Edna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Edna's Story...
Edna is a beautiful, Tyrannosaurus, I mean... dinosaur mix.
Actually, I'm not sure what she is. She looks a bit like a great dane, but someone told me she looks like a Canis Panther, which I immediately googled and yeah, she does look like one of those. She is definitely slinky like a panther!

Edna is absolutely the sweetest thing on the planet. She is a bit nervous and unsure of her surroundings, but will roll over (and over and over) for you to get belly rubs. She really just wants to be pet and loved. Edna participated in play group at animal control and was calm and polite with the other dogs she met. We can't wait to shower Edna with love and improve her confidence!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edna, a Chicago Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
