My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Griffin is an 8 yr old Boxer/Lab mix who was abandoned in the country by his former owners. Griffin is a sweet old soul and very well behaved. He knows several commands and tricks. He is good with other dogs and fine with cats. He is calm and somewhat reserved, but will not hesitate to alert you if a stranger is lurking about. He doesn't mind being crated, but is house trained, and doesn't chew on anything while you are away. He just sleeps on the couch and waits for your return, so there isn't really any need to crate him. His foster mom has learned that he is very frightened of storms, and will pace and pant nervously if he isn't able to climb in the bed and snuggle with you when it is thundering outside. If you are looking for a calm already trained dog to be your companion, Griffin is your guy!
