My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Address:85th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209

My name is Dyker --- Dyker because I was found in sub-zero weather and near death in DykerHeights a little over two months ago.

I was/am really SICK. Since being rescued, I’ve been diagnosed with polyps in my nasal passage and a cleft palate. Without surgery, I cannot get better!

What does this mean? It means the nice folks who rescued me are faced with two choices:

1. Letting me go --- meaning putting me back out on the street to fend for myself. I WILL DIE…and their hearts will break OR
2. Having me operated on to correct these issues and then finding me a home. Obviously, this costs MOOLAH- and who has THAT these days?

I am a super friendly kitty and don’t belong on the street! I will die out there without the medical attention I need. My rescuers have said I am the nicest kitty they’ve ever met, so they are going to move forward with having me operated on. Hooray for ME! Now we have to ask for help. Can you please donate towards saving me?
Hello! My name is DYKER.

I NEED HELP!

I NEED DONATIONS TO HELP ME GET WELL!
But, after my surgery, I mainly need to be adopted by a loving family.

If you can, please donate today with either cash or a check made out to Narrows Animal Hospital – with DYKER written in the comment section. WE will be forever grateful to you. This is one of those times, when it “takes a village!” THANKS!!!
Please contact Itty Bitty Kitty NY at 917-889-5896, in order to help donate or to adopt (Dyker)

An adoption fee is requested, and a hard cat carrier is required.
