Good Heart, Hard Life

I’m Tuffy, a little orange tabby girl. When I first arrived at Feline Rescue, I was sickly and so shy that I didn’t even want people to touch me. I sure have changed. Now I’ll take all the love and affection people will give me. I'm small and super sweet. I look like a kitten, but really I am just a few years old.

I like affection from other cats too, especially from my friend Ford. He’s as big and strong as I am small. We could be adopted together. Ford and I also both happen to have FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). That means we do need to keep our immune systems strong and eat healthy food. I do have some allergies, but I love my healthy diet. Just ask my foster mom, and she will tell you what I like!

I get along with all people and most any cat, too! So if you’re looking for a sweet cat and are willing to give me the extra special care I deserve, then call to hear more about me. Call Molly at 651-295-3758 or email

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
