My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh goodness.....have you ever seen such an adorable and sweet little Chihuahua? This tiny guy is Peanut, a 6 year old boy that would love to a wonderful home of his own. Peanut came to us from our Newark facility when he was found as a stray, wandering the cold, city streets all alone. How someone could let little Peanut go is beyond us, but we are just so happy to have him safe with us now. Peanut came to us in need of some medical care. He had an upper respiratory infection that we treated and during his exam, a mild heart murmur was discovered. It's not much to be concerned about, but he will need to live a more calm, laid-back lifestyle. That shouldn't be too difficult for little Peanut because he is such a pleasant and well behaved little guy. Peanut is gentle and sweet, and just a little angel. He appears to be a little shy when he meets people, but he's really quite friendly and loving. Peanut is happy to just be held and cuddled, and doesn't ask for much more than a warm lap to cozy up in, and a kind hearted person to love him. Peanut is an all around great guy and he doesn't seem to mind other well behaved dogs. He would prefer a home with no small children under the age of 10 just because he needs a quieter life, but he just adores everyone he meets. Please give our little Peanut the wonderful home that he's been dreaming of. File#23345 3/5/14
