My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gar "Girl" is looking for her peeps!!! Please help her find them. Share!!! She's super sweet, playful, friendly and outgoing. She walks well on a leash, is crate trained and housebroken. She's learned to wait at the back door and for her food. She loves to just follow you around and hang out while you putter about. She waits at the drive through gate when we drive through without running out. She even knows how to avoid the truck and trailer when it's driving through. Laying on the floor at your feet while you work on a computer, read a book, listen to music or watch TV is an all time favorite. However she is powerful and energetic so would do best with someone who is willing to walk or run off a little excess energy. Bulldogs typically don't have a huge amount of stamina so don't expect it to take too long to tire her out. She swims like mad although we are still working on her entry into the pool. She rides well in the car. She gives great kisses but can scrape your chin with those bottom teeth and will hop right up in your lap if she gets overexcited. She's great with bigger kids and loves to cuddle but because of her size may not be a good fit with smaller children. She likes other dogs but can be a bit dominant if over indulged and may do best as an only dog unless you are experienced with dogs. She's more of a people dog and loves to be where the people are. She seems to have a healthy respect for cats and agrees with me that they are very well armed and do not respect her authority. Girl appears to have been hit before and needs a calm home where people don't easily get frustrated or angry or she loses trust. She really wants to please and responds well to calm, quiet energy So is easily trained and picks up on new things with a zest.
