WILLOW's Story...
WILLOW, approximately 1 year old, 40 lbs, sweet girl, happy and friendly, lively, playful, outgoing, people oriented, affectionate, smart girl, knows the sit command, cheerful, loves attention, fairly well mannered, good-natured, once you get a tennis ball out for her to play with she is very focused on the ball and can be intense--ready to work, energetic, okay being handled as we pulled on her toes, tail, and ears, she does calm down after a bit of exercise which she will need on a daily basis, has potential to be a wonderful addition to your family if you are committed to continuing her training. WILLOW is up to date on all shots as are all of the animals at Tehama County Animal Care Center. As we get more information on WILLOW's personality and likes we will be happy to share.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WILLOW, a Red Bluff Australian Kelpie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie for sale in Red Bluff, or seeking a Australian Kelpie dog from a breeder in Red Bluff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Bluff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Bluff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie breeders who help with Australian Kelpie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Bluff paves the way for another one to be saved.
