Sydney, also known as Kitty (it’s a long story), is a sweet, low-key 11 year old Shih Tzu with a gentle personality. She is a petite 11 pounds. Sydney/Kitty gets along well with other dogs her own size and likes people and older children. Kitty rides very well in the car and enjoys going on walks. She has had not potty accidents in her foster home and is very obedient. She likes to snuggle in her dog bed at night. She is as quiet as a little mouse all night and patiently waits for her foster mom to get up in the morning.
Sydney/Kitty would be an excellent companion for someone who wants a quiet, well behaved dog who is content just to keep you company. A perfect home for her would be one with older adults who are home much of the time and there is little commotion in the house. She is okay with older, respectful children who may be visiting the home.
Sydney/Kitty is healthy, spayed, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $120.00 plus sales tax. Kitty's foster parents would like to adopt her to a family that is within 40 miles of Minneapolis, if possible. They also encourage her adoptive family to attend the annual Shih Tzu rescue reunion held in June every year.
