Abby's Story...
I would love to go home with my sister Sammy!
My name is Abby and I am darling, happy, snorty Puggle! My sister Sammy and I lost our home when our owners were no longer able to care for us due to family issues. You may notice that I have previously lost an eye. Don't worry I have bounced back wonderfully and live a perfectly normal life. The eye has long been healed and shouldn't be an issue in the future. I love my sister and would love to find a forever home with her. We are both housebroken and basically good dogs. Do you have room in your heart and your home for two lovebugs? We would love to fill that space!

Abby and Sammy are currently staying at the Barker Shop in LaGrange, where they get to spend their days being spoiled by staff and playing with many dogs. Hopefully the change of scenery will bring their family to them soon. If you would like to meet them there, please call 708-354-0400. The address of The Barker Shop is 1404 W. 55th St., LaGrange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Wheaton Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
