My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey is a fun loving, approx. 2 year old, male Yorkie mix. He is neutered, house, paper and crate trained. He has a doggy door now, but will go to the back door to let you know he needs to go outside if you are home or will use puppy pads or paper if not crated when you are not home. I have not known him to ever go on the floor in my house.

He is good with cats and other small dogs. He has not been around larger dogs.

Bailey loves attention, is very sensitive to his human's feelings and eager to please you. He is very smart and picked up on ques well when I was training him. I have a clicker and some training material that can go with him.

Unfortunately I am not well and he needs more attention than I am able to give him. He needs a home where he will get human interaction and A Secure Yard where he can run and jump and play. He could do well with older children although there are none here currently. Probably kids 10 years or older would be a good age for Bailey since very young children could possibly pull on him or unintentionally hurt him and cause him to nip at them.

He is very sweet and loving and can be timid at times. He is an all around super little guy at less than 9 lbs. when he was last weighed. He has the coat of a Yorkie. Doesn't shed much at all! He does have a very small amount of black on his back, but he is mostly what I consider to be blonde. He will require grooming. He does not fuss a lot when being brushed or getting his nails trimmed. :-)

Cute, fun loving, happy boy who needs the right home where he can grow to be the great companion that he will be.

Please email with questions. Put his name and Adopt-a-Pet in the subject line of emails please. Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you! :-)
