I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bentley's Story...
Bentley is a 2-3 year old 8 pound Maltese mix. He is buff in color, but his ears have a bit more apricot coloring. He is a darling, bouncy pup who loves everyone he meets. We think he is already housetrained, and he knows how to use a doggie door.

Bentley was groomed today, and his groomer said he was a very good boy--loving every minute of the attention he got during his bath, toenail trim and haircut. When his hair grows back, Bentley will have a long coat and a big "plume" of a tail. He is adorable even cut short, though!!!

Bentley is homeless because his owners were evicted from their home and left Bentley behind. We know that Bentley was adopted by them from animal control last June, and that they probably didn't brush him very often, because he was matted when we got him from animal control. Bentley is looking for a forever home this time--someone who will keep him forever and give him the love and care he deserves.

Bentley is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250. For information on how to adopt this cutie, please write

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Atlanta Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
