Cashew's Story...
**Cashew is Pending Adoption**

Meet Cashew! (formerly Carmelo at Philly ACCT)

Cashew is an approximately 6 month old pitty male who is an adorable pocket pitty! He's about 40 lbs and a fairly small guy with a huge heart ♥ Cashew was a volunteer favorite at the shelter our rescue pulled him from. He loves to play with the tennis ball and the tug rope, but his absolute favorite thing is belly rubs.

Cashew was brought to the shelter as a stray, but needed rescue as the shelter he was brought to is very high-kill.

Cashew gets along with dogs, has not been cat tested (but can be upon request), and is great with people.

Cashew is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventative.

If interested in adopting Cashew, please fill out an adoption application via our website at www.bellareedpbr.com/adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cashew, a Southampton Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Southampton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Southampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
