Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bolo! This handsome husky was out of time at a high kill shelter in Arkansas. A lovely volunteer sent us a rescue plea and we couldn't say no! He was pulled from the shelter and brought to a ranch for foster until his transport to Colorado. Bolo is around 55lbs and absolutely beautiful. We think he is about 2 years old. From day one Bolo we got shining reviews about his behavior! His Arkansas foster said he was great in the car and gave her tons of kisses! He was thrilled to be FREE! When they got home we were told she could carry a conversation with him, that he was a perfect house guest with no accidents, no food aggression & that Bolo was great with her dogs.
Now that Bolo is in Colorado the positive reviews keep coming! He is crate trained if you lead him towards the crate but they trust him out in the house. Bolo is leash trained, knows sit & doesn't beg from the table. He is a very social, happy boy who wants to please. After Bolo has had a chance to burn his husky energy he loves to cuddle & sleep with you too! Bolo will thrive with an active family or individual. He would love another dog to play with but frequent visits to the dog park would work too!
If you think you and Bolo would be the best of friends please complete our adoption application! He is being fostered in Boulder and is available for meet 'n' greets.
