Hello World,
My name is Marshmallow and I’m a friendly, handsome and playful little bichon boy of eight. I’m a natural ‘meeter and greeter’ who loves people, is affectionate – good with both children and other dogs. My foster Dad says I’m loyal and easy going– and that I smile a lot, as you can see from my pictures!
My best friend is named Oreo and he is also a handsome and patient guy of eight. My foster Mom says he’s also affectionate and very smart. Oreo is housebroken (hey, Mom, so am I!) She says she has never seen two pups who are as happy and easy going as we are!
Everyone who meets us says we are cuddlers and snugglers - incredibly sweet and eager to please! We love to go on walks (we are very well behaved) and LOVE riding in the car! Dad says Oreo sits straight up in the car like a person. He says that’s really quite amazing!
I, on the other hand, am the more playful one. Give me a ball that I can chase or a toy that I can ‘un-stuff’ and I will amaze and delight you. And if Oreo is interested in something, well I am right there to ‘help’ him!
When Oreo and I first met we were only 8 weeks old. A family adopted us together and we became a bonded pair. Recently the Dad took a job driving a big truck. So he was not home to take care of us. And then the Mom and the little girl decided they couldn’t either. We were dumbfounded and surprised when we ended up in the shelter! After all, we had lived with our family for almost 8 years. Then the most amazing thing happened! Our Aunties at Bichon FurKids found out about the two of us – and scooped us right up! They brought us to our wonderful foster Mom and Dad -- and we have been even happier (and grateful) ever since!
We are always good company for each other and our people, get along well with other furkids and do not have separation anxiety! Most of all, we love being with each other. When Mom has to go somewhere we go quietly into our crates and sleep there until she returns. We are just amazingly good little guys.
