Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bonnie and her brother Clyde were found as street strays in San Leandro in early March, 2014. Their rescuers kept them safe over a month hoping someone would claim them, but no one came. Bonnie has now joined Clyde in a Dusty Paws foster home.
Bonnie is still a youngster; about 10 months old, and about 10 1/2 lbs. Like Clyde, she is a bundle of energy, wiggly and sometimes overly enthusiastic, but her rescuers note she calms down easily. They praise her in-home behavior. Bonnie got along well with their 7 cats and family dog, occasionally curling up with one of them for a nap. They believe that once Bonnie learns a few basic commands and feels more comfortable walking on a leash, she will be a great companion dog.
Bonnie is now attending Dusty Paws adoption events and has been comfortable learning to spend time with with several different volunteers. She is affectionate once she gets to know you and is happy to be in a lap. Bonnie will probably do best in a home with adults or one with older children.
