Libby's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Libby's Story...
Libby is a gorgeous and super sweet 15-month old mastiff mix puppy in deserving need of a loving family! She was found as a stray in Philadelphia, hobbling along the streets, after being hit by a car. We pulled her from the shelter when her time was up and got her the surgery she needed to fix her leg.

Libby is currently healing in foster care and is looking for that special family to adopt her. She is already bearing weight on the leg that received surgery and is running around like a normal goofy dog. She is a sweet, loving mush of a pup. She is full grown at 61 pounds - we think she may be a cane corso/shepherd mix. She is like a mini mastiff, with a super soft velvet coat! Libby is up to date on shots, and will be spayed in a few weeks at her surgery re-check.

She is crate trained, quiet and well behaved in the house. She gets along great with other dogs and absolutely idolizes her golden retriever foster brother. She's a wonderful snuggle buddy but it just as happy to curl up on a dog bed if the couch is already occupied! She's a very calm dog and is happy to hang out and relax, curling up at your feet while you work.

If you would like to meet Libby, or for more information, please email her foster mom Dana at DP553@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby, a Hamilton Cane Corso/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Cane Corso/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Cane Corso/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
